About Us
Wright-Patt offers three opportunities for swimming on and near the base. There are two outdoor pools and one indoor pool.
The indoor pool is located inside Dodge Fitness Center and is open from Fall thru Spring for lap swimming.
Patterson Outdoor Pool is located behind the Wright-Patt Club and Prairies Outdoor Pool is located in the Prairies Housing Complex. The outdoor pools are normally open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day.

Season Pass

Family season passes include up to 5 people. Additional family members are $10 each.
Monthly Pass

Family monthly passes include up to 5 people. Additional family members are $10 each.
- Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult over 18.
- Children 11-13 must pass a swim test before coming to the pool unaccompanied.
- Children not toilet-trained shall wear swim diapers.
- Individuals with diarrhea, skin diseases, open sores, inflamed eyes, and nose/ear discharge are prohibited from entering the pool.
- No children under 18 years of age in the pool during the 15-minute rest period. (Exception: Parents holding their baby)
- No Drugs.
- No tobacco use within 50 feet of the facility.
- No profanity or obscene gestures.
- No food or drinks within 10 feet of the pool.
- No glass containers or glass dive masks.
- Only Coast Guard-approved flotation devices permitted. Lifejackets are only allowed when accompanied by an adult.
- No inflatables (noodles, water wings, etc.) or mermaid tails.
- Diving is only permitted in the deep end – No flipping into the pool.
- No running, pushing, or horseplay of any kind. This includes grabbing around the neck, sitting on top of the shoulders, or anything the Lifeguard deems unsafe.
- No hard-throwing objects.
- No hanging on the lane lines or life lines.
- No playing in the lap lanes, these are for continuous swimming.
- No playing on the ladders.
- Personal music playing devices must be used with headphones.
- No animals except service animals.
- Personal alcohol is PROHIBITED! (Exception: Only alcohol purchased from Wing’s Bar & Grille or Prairie Trace Golf Course is permitted by the pool)
Base Identification & Guest Information
Outdoor Recreation facilities are only open to those with base access including Active Duty military, retired military, DOD civilians, DOD contractors and dependents with DD Form 1173.
Guest are not permitted to purchase multiple visit passes. Base ID holders can sponsor up to 10 guests per ID.
